LuzOra construction update June 2026 | Dubai Islands

June brought LuzOra to a new stage of construction. The building reached the 5th level and is now moving towards the 6th, while progress continued across the parking area, swimming pool and essential building systems below.

Inside the completed levels, the next layer of work is already underway. Plastering, floor preparation and MEP installation are preparing the spaces for the interior stages that will follow.

With handover planned for Q2 2027 and average price per square foot on Dubai Islands expected to grow by more than 15.5%, this is an important period for buyers following the project. The structure is rising, and the spaces inside are now beginning to develop into the finished residence.

LuzOra construction update June 2026: week by week

1 Week: preparing the 4th level slab

The first week of June showed progress across several parts of the site at the same time.

On the ground floor, installation continued for the electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other essential systems. Completing this work prepares the area for plastering, ceilings and interior finishes later on.

Higher up, the columns and walls supporting the second section of the 4th level slab were completed, allowing the structure to move closer to the next concrete pour.

Work also continued in the ground-floor parking area. Advancing the parking and technical spaces while the upper levels rise helps keep the overall construction programme moving efficiently.

2 Week: 4th level slab part 2 completed

By the second week of June, around 80% of the block walls had been completed across the active areas of the site, bringing the internal rooms and corridors closer to their final shape.

Spray plastering also continued, preparing the walls for the finishing work that will follow, including paint, tiles and other interior details.

The week ended with the concrete pour for Part 2 of the 4th level slab, allowing work to move forward towards the 5th level. Together, this progress shows the building developing both structurally and internally as it moves closer to handover.

3 Week: the structure moves up

During the third week of June, the columns and walls for the 5th level were completed, preparing the structure for the next slab pour.

At the same time, plastering, electrical and plumbing work continued on the ground floor, moving the completed areas closer to the finishing stage.

This progress shows construction moving forward on several levels at once, with the building rising above while the lower floors are being prepared for their final use.

4 Week: 5th level slab completed

June wrapped up with the casting of the 5th level slab, and work is now moving towards the 6th level.

Progress also continued below. Blockwork at Podium 1 is helping shape the internal spaces, while self-levelling on the ground floor is preparing the surface for future flooring and finishes.

With construction now 24.22% complete, LuzOra is moving forward both structurally and internally.

MEP, plastering and internal progress

Across all four weeks, several parts of the development advanced together rather than in isolation:

  • MEP work continued across the ground floor throughout the month, preparing the space for the next stage of interior work.

  • Plastering extended across ground-floor areas following the spray plastering carried out in week two.

  • Parking work on the ground floor continued alongside the structural program, moving the layout closer to completion.

  • Swimming pool construction continued as part of the broader podium and amenity work taking shape below the residential floors.

Parking and swimming pool construction

Progress in June was not limited to the residential floors. Work also continued in the parking area, including preparations for EV charging and secure resident access, helping shape the practical side of everyday living at LuzOra.

The swimming pool area also moved forward as part of the podium works, giving one of the development’s main shared spaces a clearer form.

As construction progresses, other amenities will follow, including the gym, concierge area and children’s play space. Together, these features will turn the building from a rising structure into a place designed for comfortable day-to-day living.

What comes next for LuzOra residences?

The next phase will see construction move up to the 6th level, while work inside the completed levels becomes more detailed.

Electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems will continue to be installed, followed by further plastering, floor preparation and other work needed before finishes can begin.

As the structure rises, more attention will gradually shift to preparing the building’s internal spaces and amenities. Upcoming updates will begin to show how the concrete structure is gradually turning into a fully functional residential building.

Why this stage matters for buyers

June’s progress gives buyers a much clearer sense of where LuzOra stands today. The building is rising, work is moving inside the completed levels, and the residence is beginning to look more like the home that will be delivered.
