LuzOra Residences construction update: 50% complete as the structure reaches the 7th floor
How far along is LuzOra Residences, really? As of September, DIA Developments' project on Dubai Islands is 50% complete, with the structure now reaching the 7th floor and the 8th floor slab already 90% done. While the frame climbs toward its final height, work inside the building is moving just as fast: plastering and MEP installations are advancing across the ground floor, both podium levels and the first residential floor. Where LuzOra Residences stands in September
Ground floor moves into finishing
The ground floor is the most advanced part of the building. Blockwork is complete, plastering has reached 90%, and MEP works stand at 85%, which means the level is now entering its final finishing stage. For buyers, this is the first area where the building starts to look less like a construction site and more like the finished residence it's set to become.
1st podium: plastering 80% complete
One level up, the 1st podium is catching up quickly. Blockwork is 95% complete, MEP works are at 75%, and plastering has reached 80%. With these works moving at a steady pace, the podium is getting closer to interior finishing.
2nd podium: plastering picks up pace
On the 2nd podium, the layout is fully in place with blockwork at 100%. That has allowed plastering to move ahead fast, now at 80%, while MEP installations continue at 30%. As MEP catches up with the plastering, this level will follow the floors below it into finishing.
1st residential floor takes shape
The first residential floor is where buyers can start to picture their future homes. Blockwork is complete, plastering is at 90%, and MEP works are at 20%, so apartment layouts, corridors and internal spaces are now clearly defined. Handover expected in around 11 months
With the structure at the 7th floor and the lower levels moving into finishing, LuzOra Residences is getting steadily closer to completion. Handover is currently expected in approximately 11 months.
