LuzOra july construction update: 30% complete and rising towards the 5th floor

July brought visible progress across LuzOra Residences on Dubai Islands, with the project now 30% complete overall. The 4th-floor structure is fully finished, while blockwork, MEP and plastering continue to advance across the ground floor, podiums and 1st residential level. LuzOra is now rising towards the 5th of 8 residential floors, bringing it closer to its expected handover within approximately 9–12 months.

Ground floor moves closer to internal finishing

Blockwork on the ground floor is now 100% complete, with the internal walls and spaces fully formed. This has allowed the team to focus further on the systems and finishes that will support the completed level.

High-level MEP works have reached 85%, with the main mechanical, electrical and plumbing routes progressing above the future ceiling areas. These installations will support essential services throughout the building, including electricity, air-conditioning, water supply and drainage.

Plastering has also reached 70%, as the completed block work prepares for the next stages of interior finishing.

1st podium nears blockwork completion

Blockwork on the 1st podium has reached 95%, leaving only the final sections to be completed before this stage is fully closed.

High-level MEP works are now at 40%, with service routes continuing across the level. Plastering has reached 15% and will progress further as the remaining blockwork and service installations are completed.

The 1st podium is gradually moving from its initial internal construction stage towards more detailed finishing works.

2nd podium advances to the next stage

The 2nd podium has reached an important point, with blockwork now 100% complete and the layout of the level fully established.

High-level MEP works have progressed to 15%, while plastering has reached 10%. With the walls now in place, the team can continue increasing activity across the building services and wall-finishing stages.

Residential layouts become more visible

On the 1st residential floor, blockwork has reached 85%, making the apartment layouts, corridors and internal divisions increasingly clear.

High-level MEP works are currently at 15%, as the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems begin moving through the residential spaces. Plastering has also started and has reached 5%, marking the initial stage of preparing the apartment walls for their future finishes.

As these works progress, the 1st residential level is beginning to move beyond its open structure and towards the form of the completed residences.

4th-floor structure reaches 100%

Both the vertical and horizontal structural works on the 4th floor are now 100% complete.

The columns, structural walls and floor slab have all been completed, giving the level its full structural form and allowing construction to continue upwards.

LuzOra is now rising towards the 5th of 8 residential floors, making the development increasingly visible across its location on Dubai Islands.

Fully furnished lobby opening soon

Progress is not limited to the main building structure. The fully furnished LuzOra lobby will also officially open soon, offering a closer look at the interior atmosphere planned for the development.

The upcoming reveal will showcase how the lobby’s furniture, finishes and design details come together to create the arrival experience for future residents and visitors.

Stay tuned for the official opening!

Moving closer to handover on Dubai Islands

With construction progressing across multiple levels, LuzOra is moving closer to its anticipated handover within approximately 9–12 months, positioning it among the earlier residential developments expected to be completed on Dubai Islands.

An earlier handover gives owners the opportunity to use, rent or professionally manage their properties sooner. By reserving a unit during the current construction stage, buyers can enter earlier and prepare to start earning from their property once it is ready.
